XTube.com Hits 1 Million Members

TORONTO — User submitted adult file sharing site XTube.com recorded its one millionth member last week, Director of Sales and Marketing Lance Cassidy announced. The milestone comes after a period of growth for the company. In XTube.com’s first month of operation, the site had only 175 members.

Webnovas Technologies Inc. launched XTube.com March 1.

The bulk of content on XTube is user submitted photos and videos. Amateur submitters earn 40 percent commission on content they sell through the site, which also features pay-per-view content from Smash Pictures, Combat Zone and Pink Visual, among other straight and gay studios.

The XTube.com team has been working on two new features: an updated community to be released before the end of the year and an XTube store.

The social networking aspects of the site, called XTube.com Community, has been tweaked to feature expanded customization options so users will be able to create more in-depth profiles, communicate easier, rate videos and conduct more advanced searches.

Several branded items like shirts, key chains, lube and mousepads will be available in the XTube online store.

XTube.com also has introduced its Self-Serve ad system, which gives advertisers the opportunity to buy ad spots in the site’s media player window.
